Giza was nothing if not the linch-pin around which all the other
Millennium celebrations centered. Despite poor weather and the cancellation
of the capstone ceremony planned for the Great Pyramid (cancelled because
many Islamic citizens of Egypt objected to the "Masonic" nature of the
ceremony), Giza was nonetheless astronomically connected to many of the
other key sites around the globe.
For instance, at "Giza Midnight," there were interesting alignments
in Washington, Paris and New York.

In Washington, Orion/Osiris' belt star Mintaka was dead on the
Eastern horizon. Mars was also above the city at the Masonic altitude
of 33° 33'. In New York, it was Alnitak on the (near) Eastern horizon,
and at Paris, Sirius was at the "tetrahedral" 19.5° altitude.
The Sirigi symbolism of the Dogon also made an appearance
in Paris at local midnight. The Eiffel Tower sits just off the river Seine,
at the end of long parkway named "The Avenue of Mars." This avenue
is offset from the famous Champs Elysees (Avenue of Elysium) at an angle
of 19.5°. The Louvre museum straddles the Champs Elysees and contains
three glass pyramids in the main courtyard (the largest of which serves
as the entrance to the museum and has the same proportions as the Great
Pyramid), and a room known as the "Vestibule of Mars." An Egyptian obelisk
adorns the Plaza De la Concorde at the opposite end of the parkway which
leads to the museum.

As the new year rang in the "City of Lights," the Eiffel
Tower was lit up in an explosive display not too different from the one
at the Washington Monument. Again, the resemblance to the Dogon masks
was significant. Sirius was quite close to the meridian as the new Millennium
dawned, having passed about 7 (tetrahedral!) minutes before midnight.
So with all these simultaneous astronomical links, what
exactly was taking place at Giza? The concert by Jean-Michele Jarre was
something of a failure, with fog and low clouds obscuring his attempts
to use the pyramids as a canvas for a variety of images, including of
course, the "Eye of Horus."

The capstone ceremony had been cancelled abruptly in November,
shortly after the crash of EgyptAir flight 990.
While only one objection had been raised by anyone in the Egyptian government
before 990 (on the basis of cost), there was a curious series of press
statements beginning shortly after the crash that abruptly created an
air of major uncertainty about the viability of the whole ceremony. This
included new, vigorous objections from the opposition press that the ceremony
was "Masonic/Zionist in nature." Ultimately, the capstone ceremony
was cancelled by Zahi
Hawass, the Director of the Pyramids on the Plateau, on the basis
of concerns that "it might damage the structure." No one really
took this reasoning seriously (the weight of the proposed "gold-foil-covered
aluminum truss capstone" on the pyramid had been compared to "a
flea on the back of an elephant"). At the end of the day, this excuse
was widely viewed as an attempt by Hawass to save face amid the mounting
pressures created by the last-minute flurry of "Masonic ceremony"
charges.
Oddly, it was Hawass who had first proposed the ceremony,
apparently in an attempt to fulfill one of the prophesies made by American
Psychic Edgar Cayce. Cayce had not only predicted the capping of the Great
Pyramid with a Golden capstone as a "symbol of the (Hall of) records,"
he also announced (in 1945) that this event would usher in a "new
Masonic Order" which would rule the world. Despite Hawass' vehement
denials over the years, it has been clear for sometime that he has been
searching for the Hall of Records, which supposedly contains the true
history of the human race. Even more interesting is the fact that the
A.R.E.,
(Association for Research and Enlightenment) a foundation run by true
believers in Cayce's prophesies, funded Dr. Hawass's PhD in archaeology,
at the University of Pennsylvania. This capping ceremony, at the dawn
of the new Millennium, was to be Hawass' "repayment" ... until
it was exposed (as the Masonic ritual it was!) and blew up in his face.
But, was that the real reason for the cancellation?
What has always seemed more likely to us is that Flight 990 was
carrying something critically important to the capstone ceremony when
it was destroyed. This "something" was probably picked up during
the mysteriously-rumored "stopover" at Edwards Air Force base
that, remarkably, was "reported" several times during network
coverage of the whole Flight 990 tragedy, before being ultimately ignored
(Edwards is a well-known center for NASA's military program). Whatever
was lost when 990 went down apparently made the planned capping two months
later suddenly "irrelevant," and so the "danger to the
Pyramid" story was quietly concocted. Presumably, forces on the Hawass
side of this battle are hoping eventually to recover whatever was on board
the doomed EgyptAir flight, in the hopes of capping the Pyramid at a later
date. Already, former Hawass nemesis (and current apologist) Robert Bauval
has floated the idea that the ceremony could take place at midnight, 2001
and still be technically on the "Millennium." And in early March,
2000 it was announced that more wreckage from Flight 990 was to be recovered
from the ocean floor. This effort, at considerable expense, seems a little
overboard considering the "official" story is that 990 was a
case of "pilot suicide." What does "someone" hope
to find now amidst the wreckage?
The reality though is that what was truly important in the
events of the evening -- what we were supposed to be watching, had we
only known -- was NOT the concert, the images, or the cancelled capping
ceremony, but what was taking place above the Pyramids ... in the
skies directly over the Plateau.
Everything that night taking place at Giza was designed
to send a "message" to the world. A message that "we live
in a very special time." A time commemorated in a very special way,
a way that would have been of overwhelming significance to the ancient
Egyptians. As the clock rolled over midnight at Giza and passed us into
the publicly-perceived "new Millennium," Sirius, as the goddess
Isis and the great King Horus, was literally transiting that same meridian.

The meridian is the imaginary arc running overhead from South to
North over an observers viewpoint, in effect "splitting the sky" in
two. When a celestial object crosses this arc (due to Earth's rotation), the
object is said to "transit" the meridian. This transit of the meridian
represents the highest altitude this object will achieve over the horizon, known
as its "culmination." The elevated plane at Giza would have afforded
a perfect panoramic view from horizon to horizon, especially in ancient times,
and was therefore an ideal site to create an observatory to mark the risings,
settings, and "transits" of the heavens.
To the Egyptians, the meridian was the most important marker
in the sky and symbolic of the splitting of the heavens between life (East)
and death (West). Indeed, the symbolic significance of the transit of
a celestial object of the meridian at Giza cannot be underestimated. Researcher
Carl Munck has found that beyond having overwhelming importance to the
people of Egypt, the "Giza meridian" was the
true meridian marker of ancient cultures the world over. Munck has
shown that nearly every significant megalithic or ancient sacred site
was set up on a grid designed around the Giza meridian -- as opposed to
the Greenwich meridian we use in modern times. Recently, this work has
been extended by researcher Mary Weaver, who has proposed that the terrestrial
grid was set up in order to mirror the celestial
prime meridian running through Alnitak, the "Great Pyramid"
star in Orion's belt. Her work only reinforces that the Egyptians (and
other ancient cultures) were carrying out their motif "as above,
so below" (or the more familiar refrain "on Earth as it is in
Heaven). Beyond that, Munck's colleague Michael
Morton has found that certain modern structures -- including
the US Naval Observatory in Washington DC, on whose grounds the Vice-President's
residence is now located -- inexplicably also conform to this same
ancient global grid ("secret" Masonic knowledge successfully
passed down, anyone?): apparently fulfilling an ancient system intended
to represent "below" significant celestial objects seen in the
heavens above ...
The alignment of Sirius on the Giza meridian at precisely
the turn of the "new Millennium" is a feat of astronomical engineering
that is as inexplicable as it is awesome to behold. For hundreds of years
we've been sold a "fable," that the turn of this Millennium
was randomly set up to be at this time because of the apparently equally
random selection of the year of Christ's birth. What our almost three-year
Enterprise investigation has now found is that neither of these
events were random in any way. In fact, our entire system of time,
the "Gregorian" Calendar we use today, was apparently specifically
designed -- literally thousands of years ago -- so as to arrange the precise
astronomical conditions around which this one unique celestial
event could majestically unfold--
-- The crossing of Sirius at the Giza meridian at midnight, 2000.
Now, if you think the degree of deception and calculation
required to do such a thing literally right under our modern noses is
astronomical and highly improbable -- just wait until we get deeper into
the story ...
As we pointed out in part one, the Dogon tribe of Africa, which
worshipped gods from Sirius, told us that the orbit of Sirius determined
our calendar. Some 3,000 years after they first were given this belief,
some very powerful people made sure it was correct.
To truly understand the implications of what has happened,
it is first necessary to appreciate just how improbable it is that Sirius
would be on the meridian -- the "precessional marker" -- at the ultimate
precessional observatory, the Giza plateau, precisely at Midnight,
January 1, 2000 -- the precise dawn of the new Millennium.
In this particular epoch, 2000 AD, Sirius crosses the meridian
at midnight at Giza on only one date throughout the year, January 1. It
doesn't work on the second of January, or the 31st of December. Only on
the 1st of January is Sirius so close to the "midnight meridian."

In actuality, for a period of about a century beginning in the
1950's and extending out to about 2050, Sirius will be on or very near
the meridian, at midnight, at Giza, January 1 on a fairly regular basis.
Because of the anomalies present in the Gregorian Calendar, which result
in uneven "clock-corrections" relative to the constant motions of the
Earth -- both in rotation and in its orbit of the sun -- Sirius, at "Gregorian
midnight," will sometimes be slightly to the East of the Giza meridian,
sometimes to the West, but always during this time period (and never
before or again) within 4 minutes of midnight. On several occasions
on New Years Eve during this 100-year span (as it was on January 1, 2000),
Sirius will be accurate to within seconds of midnight at Giza --
or "dead-on" this all important astronomical time marker.

As the graph above shows, the average drift of this midnight/Giza
meridian alignment crosses from a Westerly to an Easterly trend at just
one precise moment ... in one precise year ... out of All Of Time ...
The year 2000.

Now, what are the odds that the most important celestial object
in the ancient Egyptian religion -- and, just by "accident"
also the brightest stellar object in the sky, Sirius -- would be crossing
the most important celestial marker in this same ancient religion (the
meridian), at precisely the most significant moment in at least a thousand
years (the transition to a "new Millennium"), at the site of
the most significant ancient monument on the planet (the Great Pyramid)
-- which was specifically designed to observe and mark such passings?
And further, that this same moment -- being celebrated around the world
-- also would mark the one-time passing of this same unique celestial
object from a symbolic "mostly West" (Death) position in the
sky to a "mostly East" (Life) position ...
... just by pure coincidence?!
Obviously, it isn't. But just who or what arranged all this, and to
what purpose? The answer, as usual, is in the stars.
