Because of the length of the comments associated with the previous "Captain's Blog," I'm opening a new one for discussion ....

Due to "unstable weather" at Cape Canaveral this morning, the landing of Discovery has been "recycled' ... to two new landing opportunities tomorrow morning, approximately 24 hours later. The first new opportunity is now at 5:07 AM EDT, August 9, 2005. A second occurs approximately 90 minutes later.
If weather at the Cape is NOT suitable at that time (two sequential orbit opportunities), there are two additional opportunities on two later orbits (also tomorrow) in the early morning, at Edwards Air Force Base (Dryden Flight Research Center), just north of Los Angeles, California.

Waved off again for a Cape Canaveral landing -- twice this Tuesday morning -- Eileen Collins has just completed a 2-minute, 42-second "deorbit burn," 220 miles over the Western Indian Ocean, which will place her and her intrepid crew at Edwards Air Force Base in slightly under one hour ....
Earlier last evening, I tried to make a bet on-air with George Noory, host of "Coast to Coast AM," at about 10:10 Pacific Time, August 8, regarding where Eileen Collins would eventually bring Discovery back to Earth. At that time the priority landing site by NASA was again Cape Canaveral ... from where Discovery took off.
However, based partially on the "ritual alignments model" we have been examining vis a vis NASA flight operations over the past ten or so years (calculated for this landing by Enterprise Associate, Daniel Perez, yesterday morning -- which had Sirius on the eastern horizon if Discovery landed at Edwards ...), coupled with some extremely curious remarks from Collins herself in air-to-ground conversations with Mission Control a couple of hours later -- related to "the existence or non-existence of centerline lights on the Cape Canaveral Shuttle landing runway ...") -- I predicted that Edwards would be "a good bet" for the eventual Discovery landing site this morning.
Noory wouldn't take the bet.
And so -- it's ... Edwards!

Entire NASA shuttle program and others are fake. Just propaganda and cover up. Real technology and projects are kept secret. They do cheapy job with spaceships based on designs from the 60s because they are still credible to people and mass media.

That the Shuttle is NOT the only gamne in town.

There are REAL people's lives depending on this old, obsolescent technology tonight, to get them home. THAT's the MAJOR crime here ... that it could be just to keep the REAL "space program" secret!

We had a TV documentary about "Super" lightning in the UK, don't know if it was shown in the US. It showed the Discovery mission being struck by "Super" lightning at the moment of destruction in clear skies. A listening station in the US heard the impact as cross reference to the incident. Part of the Discovery mission was to film "Super" ligtning cells and had recorded detailed events linked to "Super" ligntning. Could there be earth based control of "Super" lightning? Coincidence? Specluation!

This is crazy, but I am gonig to put it on the record....
The first landing opportunity has just been declared a 'no-go'.
The second landing opportunity brings the flight path of the shuttle over the very northern tip of the Yucatan and a few hundred miles West of Cuba. If we have an incident -- oh please forbid -- debris from the shuttle will be scattered in the Gulf of Mexico west of Cuba in the vicinity of the recent underwater 'city' discovery by that Canadian team. This discovery was supposed to be followed up by National Geographic. This was the location where side-scan sonar revealed 'pyramid' shaped forms at, if I recall, 2600 feet down.
If we have break-up, this would mean that all kinds of U.S. Government underwater search craft would scour the bottom in the area of this recent discovery. In that case, we not only loose the shuttle, it's crew and the space program, but most likely the truth about what is down there.
Is it all part of the 'master plan'? Please, please, no.

I'm sure you meant "Columbia."
Yes, Columbia two and a half years ago, during its mission, was doing observations of these "super lightning" events from orbit. But, I do NOT believe it was struck by a similar phenomenon on the way down ....
I've seen the one picture (from San Francisco) which is interpreted by some as PROVING this -- and it looks like more tiles coming off Columbia AFTER whatever happened ... happened.

If "something" were to happen to DISCOVERY crossing this deep water ... we would NEVER find out what happened!

In a nutshell I believe man is caught in a sort of 'mind-
lock' preventing him (or her) from properly feeling and
thinking through important problems.
I believe this has been caused by pollution of all types,
bad parenting, etc, etc (this can all be 'de-programmed'
by the strong...).
In my current investigations I have been led to a phenomenon
that I hold to be true at the moment - I must find out one way
or the other so I can continue !
I believe, at least part, of the 'alien', 'grey' race are
responsible for hijacking this situation and using their
hypnotic, psychic powers to manipulate the situation.
This is done (as far as I'm aware) on a subtle level using
almost impossible to notice cues - just like a hypnotist,
magician, con-artist.
What I see MAYBE something else wearing a mask....I don't know
yet.
But at the moment they are greys to me. And their seeming origins
exist in world mythology. I think they are another sentient
species ON this planet that usually hide away unless they are
threatened by our activities.
NOTE: Just look at the 2001 face (the closest shot) and it will
'de-lock' you from...well I'm not going to say it !
Er...but yes...don't look at it for too long ! 8-/
So SURELY SOMEONE knows about this ONE WAY OR THE OTHER ?!
I don't like having some anomalous situation at the top of

Listening to you on C2C as I write. So glad you mentioned the "glare/reflection" scam that mission control used during the ISS fly-around!
My jaw dropped when I saw that! It doesn't take a trained eye to see something like that (specifically that, though) and pretty quickly discern the "object" as not being "glare" or "reflection". Conversely, it's equally easy for the completely untrained eye to draw the same dissenting conclusion that it was NOT what we were told.
However, myself having been involved in digital imaging (of sorts) for eight years now, I absolutely have to dismiss mission control's diagnosis. Neither glare, reflection, nor lens flare rotate on their pitch, yaw, AND roll axis as this object did!
There were a few other objects floating around out there (much less astonishing as the one you mentioned). One of those I recall watching travel in one direction (downwards) off the screen, THEN came back on the screen (moving upwards), and IN THE MIDDLE of its travel changes its trajectory by about 30 degrees. This COULD have been reflection though as I don't recall seeing any axis movement. But still...
!!!

I had wondered why NASA TV ran the video of Mission Control during the undocking. Now it makes sense. Eileen Collins reports seeing something unidentified. NASA has to explain it away to the public. A video record of "the cause" had to be put out by NASA officialdom.
When she asks if Mission Control saw what she saw. The CAPCOM only asks if they had seen it out the window. The Flight Controller, it's obvious, asks nobody about but rather comes up with the glare answer.

I saw the "object" on the NASA TV internet feed, but like others, could not even capture a screenshot of the feed... Everything but the actual section of video was visible, but the feed was black. Is this an issue with windows screenshot, or is it an evidence procurement deterrent put in place by the NASA web coders? The supposed "reflection" moved BEHIND the station, not something a reflection would do...
The incident with Eileen brings to mind a similar incident I documented along with Richard Boylan (I alerted him to it as i listened to NASA via a VHF/UHF/SHF scanner back in the 90s and he then alerted the UFO community). The incident occured on STS-73... on COLUMBIA. It has been largely forgotten in UFOology but in light of the loss of Columbia should be looked at again..

Windoze Media Player v9 and maybe (most likely) v10 don't support (they block, rather) the usual keys/combos for print-screening (CTRL, SHIFT, ALT + Print Screen).
It used to work in v8 if you ALT-TAB'bed off and then back onto the window before a capture. What you described (the black feed area) is the functionally correct (but not desired) result... a big finger from Microsoft. I need to install one of my capture utilities again, lol.
Just tried to access that video... Could not connect to server... Is the server being overloaded, or are we being monitored???
On the NASA TV right now, they keep showing the runway at night. But there is an object in the sky, moving quickly from left to right and stopping, etc. Anybody else notice this?
Well that's that for todays landing. They just called it off.
Just saw feed showing the landing of the recon plane, and there was a light in the sky over the plane that suddenly "bobbed" down and then back up... Someone is taking a keen interest to these proceedings with access to advanced technology...

It was ESPECIALLY obvious that no one asked ANYONE ... ANYTHING ... if you saw (and taped) the Mission Control room documentary footage they were shooting ... and then aired on NASA TV!
Again, what was Collins' REAL motive in asking her obviously "loaded" question of the ground ...?

Unfortunately, because I was doing a LIVE "Coast" update when they undocked, I forgot (really...) to turn the machine on ... until that part of the undock had gone by (which I only found out at the next break. Double G-r-r-r-r-r!).

Or, it could simply mean that the Princeton "eggs" are picking up EVERYONE's synchronized ATTENTION on ONE event ... the impending landing of Discovery. It's just registering the coherent, global ATTENTION -- which is what the theory SAYS it's supposed to do, with an event we ALL know is coming ....

That was a radar image I saved about a year or so ago from the local news station when I lived in KS. This "void" was nothing special, just something due to ground clutter or something. Maybe it's not even close to what you all are talking about.

Yes, that thought did cross my mind and seemed to be more apt going on my intuition on the matter.
My 1st thought was that something wrong was up but right away that thought faded and what you mentioned took over rather quickly.
btw I enjoyed the C2C show tonight and I'm happy to see Tim's efforts coming along nicely. I had the opportunity to speak with him via phonecall and had a nice chat with him when the Lifter craze had kinda taken off.
I built a few myself and they work like a hot damn, however the 1st one I made was an albatross of sorts.
Was a bit too heavy or I guess I just didn't have enough voltage to get it flying.
I am also dabbling in the blackbox electricity genny's as well. I also have been working with some metaphysics folks on bioenergy devices. I am building a circuit as I speak for a Field Pulser. These devices utilize orgone energies.

I just read a few of your more recent blog entries and there are a few points on which you and I differ:
1) The Space Transportation System, in its entirety, should be grounded permanently... the shuttles in the fleet are unsafe for human spaceflight, rely on obsolete technology, and are very likely to be suffering from excessive stress on the airframe components of each Orbiter.
2) The grounding of the STS fleet does not automatically mean an end to ISS support activities (though it would end manned support activities). For cargo missions to the ISS, the Delta IV (Heavy) Expendable Launch Vehicle can launch a comparable payload to the ISS, without risking lives, and at about 3/4 the cost.

Actually, when that object appeared, Mission Control told Collins that it was not debris, but rather a reflection. Of course, Richard told the full scoop a few hours ago on Coast.

Suppose you had a public space program during the Cold War. The military looking over the shoulder, learning from the public program's mistakes, benefitting from their R&D and with the power to declare any technology to be a "national security issue" and seize it.
And suppose you had used those blunt supposed-to-be-for-war-time and external-enemies kind of powers to develop your own 'in the shadows' rival Space Program.
If your Space Program had been to the Dark Side of the Moon thousands of times, to Mars hundreds of times and knew every nuance about solar flares and re-entry techniques (a prowess caught on video) would you have an obligation to speak up and say, "hey, NASA, the Cold War is over, the public interest is a National Security issue now" and take them on a tour of their test facilities at Area 51.

I just heard Eileen Collins ask SPECIFICALLY for sunrise times at Edwards, for opportunity #3 ... so Dan might have psyched out what the REAL decision (and WHY) might be tomorrow ....
I always LOVE it when Sirius is at the "perfect" angle ... as (based on a vast amount of previous data)they tend to go with that geometry.

We are NOT in basic disagreement: I too believe the STS should be ended ASAP. As does Mike Griffin, the new Head of NASA.
However -- certain payloads required to complete ISS were SIZED specifically for Shuttle. Making them fit into some kind of "hammerhead shroud" on top of a Delta IV might wind up costing just as much (economically -- in terms of redesign and testing ...) as sending them up on an UNMANNED Shuttle (a subject I intend to write about at more length elsewhere ...).

So through various means you come to know that every now and again the Earth does a bit of a flip. Poles shift, flooding occurs, things warm up, generally a really big shake up. We know there have been numerous North poles, example Hudson Bay, and every culture in the world has a great flood story, ala old Noah. Cause, it not too important, it occurs and we simply have recognized the repetitive time interval through various means, geological and historical(i.e. Sitchin-Sumeria). Tie that in with lots of current indicators showing accelerated dynamic change and it comes right back to your consideration. So lets say you know we are due any time for this "event or phase", yet not sure quite how extreme or global it will be, one undertakes to prepare to leave for while to come back after things settle down. You think you are not capable of taking everyone, so you keep it quite and do some space resource hunting to be able to sustain out there while ol Mother Earth does a "reboot".
So there becomes two stories, the secret program and the distractive one that also helps in practical ways. So this more basic program entertains everyone, and essentially does the infrastructure work for sourcing resources(mining,water), satelites, establishing communications, and general preperations. A good little industrial economic engine in many ways unknowing of the upper layer of agenda. Work work work.
So, if Sitchin was bang on with a life time of translations and analysis(note: he wasn't even a space kinda guy before), then Niburu, the 10th Planet is due back here really really soon! Its return through the inner solar system according to the Epic of Creation tends to bring with it some "turbulence" and disruption every time, because it is coming in going against the flow of the rest of the neigbourhood, essentially clockwise, while Earth and company is, put simply, going counterclockwise, making a formula for some touble.
So Sitchin is bang on(no pun), and the top tier Government goes quietly about preservation of mankind in some measure in anticipation of this scenario, while everyone is watching TV and staying busy with money and the economic program. Busy like a Canadian Beaver!
But Oh! Just like days of old, someone whipered a truth(kept secret) and let something "leak".
So here we are know, with a serious and intelligent figure named Richard Hoagland who is "rocking the boat" as the modern proverbial Noah and hopefully this time around, enough people will listen. So the agenda skims the top best people(intellectuals) of the world to "save", in their notion of the limitations they have. While forgetting that most of those brightest ones came from often humble backgrounds and basic grassroots origins. Your going to lose your future bright ones, with that limited strategy. What is not done by law is done by regulation on 'enviro' issues:

a) there are no tungsten mines in the US.
b) the Marines are in the process of switching lead ammo for tungsten - an enviro regulation not law, Army to follow shortly there after. The US will be the only major military using this 'enviro' junk, which puts our soldiers at an extreme disadvantage on any battlefield against any major power. They have an unlimited supply of lead bullets, we have a very finite supply of tungsten - especially against either Russia or China - expect to see no new supplies. when your ammo is gone, it's gone. Because of PC 'envio' laws and regs, we could not fight a sustained land-battle against either Russia or China and they and the Pentagon know that. Wars are won by the guy that has the most of everything, not necessarily the best tech.
c) all sintered NdfeB magnets are produced overseas and shipped to the US. Norway, for instance, is the largest supplier of power generating dynamos - those used in all power plants - lead time is 6 months-1 year, not counting shipping weeks. 'Enviro' laws and regulations have so severely curtailed US power production that it was no longer profitable to operate in the US.
e) there are no open working rare-earth mines operating in the US. The largest deposits of rare-earths in the world is in the US. Most military grade sintered magnets are stamped 'made in China' where the NdFeB is mined.
d) Because of 'enviro' laws/regs we cannot adequately train join ops, or even normal things like tank maneuvers, firing practice, or long marches.
National security compromised
National security is compromised only to the degree that Pentagon Perfumed Princes (esses) think they can get away with at present given their assessment of current potential adversaries capabilities. These assessments are more speculative then based on actual fact.
In the past week, the US Military has become VERY worried about the Chinese and their purchased and local advanced tech - which we have nothing to counter. This is not a question of our 'secret tech' to the rescue, but such mundane military things like an anti-ship drone to practice against. We have none. The US company biding on the contract was underbid by a Chinese company (owned by the PLA) who supplied an outdated drone and closed shop. The US company filed Chapter 11 and is now defunct. The only working defense Navy ships have against incoming (Russian origin) Chinese anti-ship missiles are Gattling guns, but the radar is not good enough to acquire, track, and fire before the ship is struck. And yes, the Navy's most advanced, most secret radar (the Aegis system) was stolen by a Chinese front company and is now implemented on their new destroyer class.

Truth is no one cared. Only a very few people are aware of 51 and the 'enviro' problems there, and care less about someone else's lawsuit. Blame this on lack of media coverage perhaps.
However, large scale (public) implementation of any processes or techs which require sintered NdFeB magnets or tungsten are totally dependent on the US having a good trade relationship with China (on China's terms). The truth is that any US producer of these items for the public would face 'enviro' laws/regs which would make a nuke power plant operator cringe. And so they would be made elsewhere - China, on Chinese terms.
What makes you believe that ONLY the US has advanced secret tech craft and tech?
17 cents of every dollar we spend on Chinese-made goods goes directly into the PLA military budget. And that's only what the Chinese will publicly admit. And remember that 17 cents buys quite a lot more in China than it would in our economy. Maybe most or some of those mysterious craft filmed by the shuttle were of Chinese or Russian origin? Remember, we suffer from a huge lack of engineers, and the Chinese have an equally huge surplus - many of which they send here with certain obligations - see below.

This is real, it is a conspiracy, and was implemented publicly amid fanfare and celebrations in 1986 by the Chinese - main focus is on the US. It's aim is not only acquiring ALL the world's secret and black tech, but also - by any and all means possible - closing down all other producers and raw material sources outside of China. So far they have exceeded beyond their initial expectations, thanks to US naivety/gullibility, political correctness/extreme 'envio' laws/regs and the people who push them.
While we concentrate of teaching kids correct condom use, multicultuism, feel-good-about-the-result math - the Chinese teach the same age kids advanced solid and plane geometry, algebra, trig and calculus. While we turn out a plethora of lawyers and wanna be CEOs, they turn out engineers, scientists and researchers. While we battle Islamist in the Middle East, they simply shoot them en-mass - failing that, use those troublesome Chinese Islamist villages to test the effectiveness of China's neutron bombs - whose klystron switches were acquired free of charge from the previous administration.
When you feel someone looking over your shoulder, it may not be your imagination, and the someone may not be from the US Military/BackOps/Pentagon/NASA/ or other off-budget agency. Naturally, any shuttle failure 'benefits' accrue directly to the Chinese, no matter who else may be involved.
One would certainly like to be optimistic about a "new vision" for space travel, but I really can't see that happening with the mentality of the current administration. After all, we have a president who makes no secret of the the fact that he DOESN'T EVEN LIKE TO READ! Not to get too deep into politics, W's physical and behavioral resemblence to a hideous little troll (and Pat Robertson ?) may merely be a hint of far deeper problems. History in the future will no doubt record that the American media's greatest failure was to not investigate this man's past and force to the surface certain questions that should have been answered before he was ever allowed to hold ANY public office.
Like for instance, was he really living with Satan worshipping drug dealers in a shack in Brownsville, Texas back in 1984 and was he really the only survivor after the entire cult was massacred in a particularly bloody manner? (see link to story below) Why is it that when he was asked about these things during his presidential run that he simply said he didn't want to talk about something that MAY OR MAY NOT HAVE HAPPENED ? Are these things true ? He could have easily cleared the air by unambigously answering. What is for certain however, is that we have drifted a long way from discussing the merits of a president who rescued an injured fellow sailor from a wrecked PT boat and used his teeth to swim with him in tow to safety. It is this type of person who provided the vision to get to the moon.
Maybe those of you who pursue the ritualistic conspiracy side of things have REALLY solid ground to walk on. Maybe we all need to wake up before W's hand-picked successor comes to power and we get a further lesson on just how low things can go!

Relief Felt as Hurricane Dennis "Less Destructive" than Ivan

MIAMI, FL (AHN) - Reports coming out of the Pensacola News Journal claim the wrath of Hurricane Dennis is no match to that of Hurricane Ivan, which ripped through the area in September 2004.
In the Pensacola Bay Area, 36 shelters are housing 8,773 people. There are 11 shelters keeping 333 special needs residents safe.
Two fatalities have been reported in the Panhandle - a 77-year-old man died in a shelter of an apparent heart attack and a 3-year-old boy was killed during evacuation efforts.
There are 1,329 Florida National Guard officials on duty in the area, with a total of 2,600 activated.
The latest numbers report 119,115 households are without power in 33 counties.
Tolls remain suspended and major roadways closed. Escambia County officials have opened the Pensacola Bay Bridge, although the Department of Transportation won't make a thorough inspection until Monday. Pensacola Beach will reopen for residents' return after clean-up of roads is completed some time Monday.
One and a half million gallons of water and 16 million pounds of ice have been ordered for post-Dennis use.
Florida Gov. Jeb Bush has requested a disaster declaration from President Bush, his brother, but that request had not yet been approved.
