Because of the length of the comments associated with the previous "Captain's Blog," I'm opening a new one for discussion ....

Due to "unstable weather" at Cape Canaveral this morning, the landing of Discovery has been "recycled' ... to two new landing opportunities tomorrow morning, approximately 24 hours later. The first new opportunity is now at 5:07 AM EDT, August 9, 2005. A second occurs approximately 90 minutes later.
If weather at the Cape is NOT suitable at that time (two sequential orbit opportunities), there are two additional opportunities on two later orbits (also tomorrow) in the early morning, at Edwards Air Force Base (Dryden Flight Research Center), just north of Los Angeles, California.

Waved off again for a Cape Canaveral landing -- twice this Tuesday morning -- Eileen Collins has just completed a 2-minute, 42-second "deorbit burn," 220 miles over the Western Indian Ocean, which will place her and her intrepid crew at Edwards Air Force Base in slightly under one hour ....
Earlier last evening, I tried to make a bet on-air with George Noory, host of "Coast to Coast AM," at about 10:10 Pacific Time, August 8, regarding where Eileen Collins would eventually bring Discovery back to Earth. At that time the priority landing site by NASA was again Cape Canaveral ... from where Discovery took off.
However, based partially on the "ritual alignments model" we have been examining vis a vis NASA flight operations over the past ten or so years (calculated for this landing by Enterprise Associate, Daniel Perez, yesterday morning -- which had Sirius on the eastern horizon if Discovery landed at Edwards ...), coupled with some extremely curious remarks from Collins herself in air-to-ground conversations with Mission Control a couple of hours later -- related to "the existence or non-existence of centerline lights on the Cape Canaveral Shuttle landing runway ...") -- I predicted that Edwards would be "a good bet" for the eventual Discovery landing site this morning.
Noory wouldn't take the bet.
And so -- it's ... Edwards!

Entire NASA shuttle program and others are fake. Just propaganda and cover up. Real technology and projects are kept secret. They do cheapy job with spaceships based on designs from the 60s because they are still credible to people and mass media.

That the Shuttle is NOT the only gamne in town.

There are REAL people's lives depending on this old, obsolescent technology tonight, to get them home. THAT's the MAJOR crime here ... that it could be just to keep the REAL "space program" secret!

We had a TV documentary about "Super" lightning in the UK, don't know if it was shown in the US. It showed the Discovery mission being struck by "Super" lightning at the moment of destruction in clear skies. A listening station in the US heard the impact as cross reference to the incident. Part of the Discovery mission was to film "Super" ligtning cells and had recorded detailed events linked to "Super" ligntning. Could there be earth based control of "Super" lightning? Coincidence? Specluation!

This is crazy, but I am gonig to put it on the record....
The first landing opportunity has just been declared a 'no-go'.
The second landing opportunity brings the flight path of the shuttle over the very northern tip of the Yucatan and a few hundred miles West of Cuba. If we have an incident -- oh please forbid -- debris from the shuttle will be scattered in the Gulf of Mexico west of Cuba in the vicinity of the recent underwater 'city' discovery by that Canadian team. This discovery was supposed to be followed up by National Geographic. This was the location where side-scan sonar revealed 'pyramid' shaped forms at, if I recall, 2600 feet down.
If we have break-up, this would mean that all kinds of U.S. Government underwater search craft would scour the bottom in the area of this recent discovery. In that case, we not only loose the shuttle, it's crew and the space program, but most likely the truth about what is down there.
Is it all part of the 'master plan'? Please, please, no.

I'm sure you meant "Columbia."
Yes, Columbia two and a half years ago, during its mission, was doing observations of these "super lightning" events from orbit. But, I do NOT believe it was struck by a similar phenomenon on the way down ....
I've seen the one picture (from San Francisco) which is interpreted by some as PROVING this -- and it looks like more tiles coming off Columbia AFTER whatever happened ... happened.

If "something" were to happen to DISCOVERY crossing this deep water ... we would NEVER find out what happened!

In a nutshell I believe man is caught in a sort of 'mind-
lock' preventing him (or her) from properly feeling and
thinking through important problems.
I believe this has been caused by pollution of all types,
bad parenting, etc, etc (this can all be 'de-programmed'
by the strong...).
In my current investigations I have been led to a phenomenon
that I hold to be true at the moment - I must find out one way
or the other so I can continue !
I believe, at least part, of the 'alien', 'grey' race are
responsible for hijacking this situation and using their
hypnotic, psychic powers to manipulate the situation.
This is done (as far as I'm aware) on a subtle level using
almost impossible to notice cues - just like a hypnotist,
magician, con-artist.
What I see MAYBE something else wearing a mask....I don't know
yet.
But at the moment they are greys to me. And their seeming origins
exist in world mythology. I think they are another sentient
species ON this planet that usually hide away unless they are
threatened by our activities.
NOTE: Just look at the 2001 face (the closest shot) and it will
'de-lock' you from...well I'm not going to say it !
Er...but yes...don't look at it for too long ! 8-/
So SURELY SOMEONE knows about this ONE WAY OR THE OTHER ?!
I don't like having some anomalous situation at the top of

Listening to you on C2C as I write. So glad you mentioned the "glare/reflection" scam that mission control used during the ISS fly-around!
My jaw dropped when I saw that! It doesn't take a trained eye to see something like that (specifically that, though) and pretty quickly discern the "object" as not being "glare" or "reflection". Conversely, it's equally easy for the completely untrained eye to draw the same dissenting conclusion that it was NOT what we were told.
However, myself having been involved in digital imaging (of sorts) for eight years now, I absolutely have to dismiss mission control's diagnosis. Neither glare, reflection, nor lens flare rotate on their pitch, yaw, AND roll axis as this object did!
There were a few other objects floating around out there (much less astonishing as the one you mentioned). One of those I recall watching travel in one direction (downwards) off the screen, THEN came back on the screen (moving upwards), and IN THE MIDDLE of its travel changes its trajectory by about 30 degrees. This COULD have been reflection though as I don't recall seeing any axis movement. But still...
!!!

I had wondered why NASA TV ran the video of Mission Control during the undocking. Now it makes sense. Eileen Collins reports seeing something unidentified. NASA has to explain it away to the public. A video record of "the cause" had to be put out by NASA officialdom.
When she asks if Mission Control saw what she saw. The CAPCOM only asks if they had seen it out the window. The Flight Controller, it's obvious, asks nobody about but rather comes up with the glare answer.

I saw the "object" on the NASA TV internet feed, but like others, could not even capture a screenshot of the feed... Everything but the actual section of video was visible, but the feed was black. Is this an issue with windows screenshot, or is it an evidence procurement deterrent put in place by the NASA web coders? The supposed "reflection" moved BEHIND the station, not something a reflection would do...
The incident with Eileen brings to mind a similar incident I documented along with Richard Boylan (I alerted him to it as i listened to NASA via a VHF/UHF/SHF scanner back in the 90s and he then alerted the UFO community). The incident occured on STS-73... on COLUMBIA. It has been largely forgotten in UFOology but in light of the loss of Columbia should be looked at again..

Windoze Media Player v9 and maybe (most likely) v10 don't support (they block, rather) the usual keys/combos for print-screening (CTRL, SHIFT, ALT + Print Screen).
It used to work in v8 if you ALT-TAB'bed off and then back onto the window before a capture. What you described (the black feed area) is the functionally correct (but not desired) result... a big finger from Microsoft. I need to install one of my capture utilities again, lol.
Just tried to access that video... Could not connect to server... Is the server being overloaded, or are we being monitored???
On the NASA TV right now, they keep showing the runway at night. But there is an object in the sky, moving quickly from left to right and stopping, etc. Anybody else notice this?
Well that's that for todays landing. They just called it off.
Just saw feed showing the landing of the recon plane, and there was a light in the sky over the plane that suddenly "bobbed" down and then back up... Someone is taking a keen interest to these proceedings with access to advanced technology...

It was ESPECIALLY obvious that no one asked ANYONE ... ANYTHING ... if you saw (and taped) the Mission Control room documentary footage they were shooting ... and then aired on NASA TV!
Again, what was Collins' REAL motive in asking her obviously "loaded" question of the ground ...?

Unfortunately, because I was doing a LIVE "Coast" update when they undocked, I forgot (really...) to turn the machine on ... until that part of the undock had gone by (which I only found out at the next break. Double G-r-r-r-r-r!).

Or, it could simply mean that the Princeton "eggs" are picking up EVERYONE's synchronized ATTENTION on ONE event ... the impending landing of Discovery. It's just registering the coherent, global ATTENTION -- which is what the theory SAYS it's supposed to do, with an event we ALL know is coming ....

That was a radar image I saved about a year or so ago from the local news station when I lived in KS. This "void" was nothing special, just something due to ground clutter or something. Maybe it's not even close to what you all are talking about.

Yes, that thought did cross my mind and seemed to be more apt going on my intuition on the matter.
My 1st thought was that something wrong was up but right away that thought faded and what you mentioned took over rather quickly.
btw I enjoyed the C2C show tonight and I'm happy to see Tim's efforts coming along nicely. I had the opportunity to speak with him via phonecall and had a nice chat with him when the Lifter craze had kinda taken off.
I built a few myself and they work like a hot damn, however the 1st one I made was an albatross of sorts.
Was a bit too heavy or I guess I just didn't have enough voltage to get it flying.
I am also dabbling in the blackbox electricity genny's as well. I also have been working with some metaphysics folks on bioenergy devices. I am building a circuit as I speak for a Field Pulser. These devices utilize orgone energies.

I just read a few of your more recent blog entries and there are a few points on which you and I differ:
1) The Space Transportation System, in its entirety, should be grounded permanently... the shuttles in the fleet are unsafe for human spaceflight, rely on obsolete technology, and are very likely to be suffering from excessive stress on the airframe components of each Orbiter.
2) The grounding of the STS fleet does not automatically mean an end to ISS support activities (though it would end manned support activities). For cargo missions to the ISS, the Delta IV (Heavy) Expendable Launch Vehicle can launch a comparable payload to the ISS, without risking lives, and at about 3/4 the cost.

Actually, when that object appeared, Mission Control told Collins that it was not debris, but rather a reflection. Of course, Richard told the full scoop a few hours ago on Coast.

Suppose you had a public space program during the Cold War. The military looking over the shoulder, learning from the public program's mistakes, benefitting from their R&D and with the power to declare any technology to be a "national security issue" and seize it.
And suppose you had used those blunt supposed-to-be-for-war-time and external-enemies kind of powers to develop your own 'in the shadows' rival Space Program.
If your Space Program had been to the Dark Side of the Moon thousands of times, to Mars hundreds of times and knew every nuance about solar flares and re-entry techniques (a prowess caught on video) would you have an obligation to speak up and say, "hey, NASA, the Cold War is over, the public interest is a National Security issue now" and take them on a tour of their test facilities at Area 51.

I just heard Eileen Collins ask SPECIFICALLY for sunrise times at Edwards, for opportunity #3 ... so Dan might have psyched out what the REAL decision (and WHY) might be tomorrow ....
I always LOVE it when Sirius is at the "perfect" angle ... as (based on a vast amount of previous data)they tend to go with that geometry.

We are NOT in basic disagreement: I too believe the STS should be ended ASAP. As does Mike Griffin, the new Head of NASA.
However -- certain payloads required to complete ISS were SIZED specifically for Shuttle. Making them fit into some kind of "hammerhead shroud" on top of a Delta IV might wind up costing just as much (economically -- in terms of redesign and testing ...) as sending them up on an UNMANNED Shuttle (a subject I intend to write about at more length elsewhere ...).

So through various means you come to know that every now and again the Earth does a bit of a flip. Poles shift, flooding occurs, things warm up, generally a really big shake up. We know there have been numerous North poles, example Hudson Bay, and every culture in the world has a great flood story, ala old Noah. Cause, it not too important, it occurs and we simply have recognized the repetitive time interval through various means, geological and historical(i.e. Sitchin-Sumeria). Tie that in with lots of current indicators showing accelerated dynamic change and it comes right back to your consideration. So lets say you know we are due any time for this "event or phase", yet not sure quite how extreme or global it will be, one undertakes to prepare to leave for while to come back after things settle down. You think you are not capable of taking everyone, so you keep it quite and do some space resource hunting to be able to sustain out there while ol Mother Earth does a "reboot".
So there becomes two stories, the secret program and the distractive one that also helps in practical ways. So this more basic program entertains everyone, and essentially does the infrastructure work for sourcing resources(mining,water), satelites, establishing communications, and general preperations. A good little industrial economic engine in many ways unknowing of the upper layer of agenda. Work work work.
So, if Sitchin was bang on with a life time of translations and analysis(note: he wasn't even a space kinda guy before), then Niburu, the 10th Planet is due back here really really soon! Its return through the inner solar system according to the Epic of Creation tends to bring with it some "turbulence" and disruption every time, because it is coming in going against the flow of the rest of the neigbourhood, essentially clockwise, while Earth and company is, put simply, going counterclockwise, making a formula for some touble.
So Sitchin is bang on(no pun), and the top tier Government goes quietly about preservation of mankind in some measure in anticipation of this scenario, while everyone is watching TV and staying busy with money and the economic program. Busy like a Canadian Beaver!
But Oh! Just like days of old, someone whipered a truth(kept secret) and let something "leak".
So here we are know, with a serious and intelligent figure named Richard Hoagland who is "rocking the boat" as the modern proverbial Noah and hopefully this time around, enough people will listen. So the agenda skims the top best people(intellectuals) of the world to "save", in their notion of the limitations they have. While forgetting that most of those brightest ones came from often humble backgrounds and basic grassroots origins. Your going to lose your future bright ones, with that limited strategy. What is not done by law is done by regulation on 'enviro' issues:

a) there are no tungsten mines in the US.
b) the Marines are in the process of switching lead ammo for tungsten - an enviro regulation not law, Army to follow shortly there after. The US will be the only major military using this 'enviro' junk, which puts our soldiers at an extreme disadvantage on any battlefield against any major power. They have an unlimited supply of lead bullets, we have a very finite supply of tungsten - especially against either Russia or China - expect to see no new supplies. when your ammo is gone, it's gone. Because of PC 'envio' laws and regs, we could not fight a sustained land-battle against either Russia or China and they and the Pentagon know that. Wars are won by the guy that has the most of everything, not necessarily the best tech.
c) all sintered NdfeB magnets are produced overseas and shipped to the US. Norway, for instance, is the largest supplier of power generating dynamos - those used in all power plants - lead time is 6 months-1 year, not counting shipping weeks. 'Enviro' laws and regulations have so severely curtailed US power production that it was no longer profitable to operate in the US.
e) there are no open working rare-earth mines operating in the US. The largest deposits of rare-earths in the world is in the US. Most military grade sintered magnets are stamped 'made in China' where the NdFeB is mined.
d) Because of 'enviro' laws/regs we cannot adequately train join ops, or even normal things like tank maneuvers, firing practice, or long marches.
National security compromised
National security is compromised only to the degree that Pentagon Perfumed Princes (esses) think they can get away with at present given their assessment of current potential adversaries capabilities. These assessments are more speculative then based on actual fact.
In the past week, the US Military has become VERY worried about the Chinese and their purchased and local advanced tech - which we have nothing to counter. This is not a question of our 'secret tech' to the rescue, but such mundane military things like an anti-ship drone to practice against. We have none. The US company biding on the contract was underbid by a Chinese company (owned by the PLA) who supplied an outdated drone and closed shop. The US company filed Chapter 11 and is now defunct. The only working defense Navy ships have against incoming (Russian origin) Chinese anti-ship missiles are Gattling guns, but the radar is not good enough to acquire, track, and fire before the ship is struck. And yes, the Navy's most advanced, most secret radar (the Aegis system) was stolen by a Chinese front company and is now implemented on their new destroyer class.

Truth is no one cared. Only a very few people are aware of 51 and the 'enviro' problems there, and care less about someone else's lawsuit. Blame this on lack of media coverage perhaps.
However, large scale (public) implementation of any processes or techs which require sintered NdFeB magnets or tungsten are totally dependent on the US having a good trade relationship with China (on China's terms). The truth is that any US producer of these items for the public would face 'enviro' laws/regs which would make a nuke power plant operator cringe. And so they would be made elsewhere - China, on Chinese terms.
What makes you believe that ONLY the US has advanced secret tech craft and tech?
17 cents of every dollar we spend on Chinese-made goods goes directly into the PLA military budget. And that's only what the Chinese will publicly admit. And remember that 17 cents buys quite a lot more in China than it would in our economy. Maybe most or some of those mysterious craft filmed by the shuttle were of Chinese or Russian origin? Remember, we suffer from a huge lack of engineers, and the Chinese have an equally huge surplus - many of which they send here with certain obligations - see below.

This is real, it is a conspiracy, and was implemented publicly amid fanfare and celebrations in 1986 by the Chinese - main focus is on the US. It's aim is not only acquiring ALL the world's secret and black tech, but also - by any and all means possible - closing down all other producers and raw material sources outside of China. So far they have exceeded beyond their initial expectations, thanks to US naivety/gullibility, political correctness/extreme 'envio' laws/regs and the people who push them.
While we concentrate of teaching kids correct condom use, multicultuism, feel-good-about-the-result math - the Chinese teach the same age kids advanced solid and plane geometry, algebra, trig and calculus. While we turn out a plethora of lawyers and wanna be CEOs, they turn out engineers, scientists and researchers. While we battle Islamist in the Middle East, they simply shoot them en-mass - failing that, use those troublesome Chinese Islamist villages to test the effectiveness of China's neutron bombs - whose klystron switches were acquired free of charge from the previous administration.
When you feel someone looking over your shoulder, it may not be your imagination, and the someone may not be from the US Military/BackOps/Pentagon/NASA/ or other off-budget agency. Naturally, any shuttle failure 'benefits' accrue directly to the Chinese, no matter who else may be involved.
One would certainly like to be optimistic about a "new vision" for space travel, but I really can't see that happening with the mentality of the current administration. After all, we have a president who makes no secret of the the fact that he DOESN'T EVEN LIKE TO READ! Not to get too deep into politics, W's physical and behavioral resemblence to a hideous little troll (and Pat Robertson ?) may merely be a hint of far deeper problems. History in the future will no doubt record that the American media's greatest failure was to not investigate this man's past and force to the surface certain questions that should have been answered before he was ever allowed to hold ANY public office.
Like for instance, was he really living with Satan worshipping drug dealers in a shack in Brownsville, Texas back in 1984 and was he really the only survivor after the entire cult was massacred in a particularly bloody manner? (see link to story below) Why is it that when he was asked about these things during his presidential run that he simply said he didn't want to talk about something that MAY OR MAY NOT HAVE HAPPENED ? Are these things true ? He could have easily cleared the air by unambigously answering. What is for certain however, is that we have drifted a long way from discussing the merits of a president who rescued an injured fellow sailor from a wrecked PT boat and used his teeth to swim with him in tow to safety. It is this type of person who provided the vision to get to the moon.
Maybe those of you who pursue the ritualistic conspiracy side of things have REALLY solid ground to walk on. Maybe we all need to wake up before W's hand-picked successor comes to power and we get a further lesson on just how low things can go!

MIAMI, FL (AHN) - Reports coming out of the Pensacola News Journal claim the wrath of Hurricane Dennis is no match to that of Hurricane Ivan, which ripped through the area in September 2004.
In the Pensacola Bay Area, 36 shelters are housing 8,773 people. There are 11 shelters keeping 333 special needs residents safe.
Two fatalities have been reported in the Panhandle - a 77-year-old man died in a shelter of an apparent heart attack and a 3-year-old boy was killed during evacuation efforts.
There are 1,329 Florida National Guard officials on duty in the area, with a total of 2,600 activated.
The latest numbers report 119,115 households are without power in 33 counties.
Tolls remain suspended and major roadways closed. Escambia County officials have opened the Pensacola Bay Bridge, although the Department of Transportation won't make a thorough inspection until Monday. Pensacola Beach will reopen for residents' return after clean-up of roads is completed some time Monday.
One and a half million gallons of water and 16 million pounds of ice have been ordered for post-Dennis use.
Florida Gov. Jeb Bush has requested a disaster declaration from President Bush, his brother, but that request had not yet been approved.

it's the nature of those "extra" dimensions that is the key to everything. Can Richard's HD model explain the nature of the dimensions? Objective science is at a loss to be able to. In all this, let's call it a 'blizzard' of new information let's not be distracted from the basics. Deep Impact(on our pockets for a few measly pictures) still has not released their spectra, MARSIS still is not releasing even a small bit of its sub-surface data and for that matter the Mars Express craft has flown over Cydonia by now with no release of images.
Sometimes I feel there is an element of miss-direction in all things that happen in the media, like a veteran street magician. Engaging you with motion or objects on one side to make you forget or not notice what is happening on the other.

I signed up for the DAG. I have to admit that I'm probably not as "fringe" as some of you are, but I live with an open mind. I don't mean to use the word "fringe" in a negative way. Many of you do some amazing and interesting work, but some theories I would need much more evidence before supporting. I don't personally agree with everything that is represented at TEM, but I agree with what it is trying to accomplish as a whole... disclosure.
I've loosely followed RCH's work for over 15 years now...or whatever year Monuments was released. Years back I pored over hundreds of Mars photos like many of you did, searching for anomalies. I saw some MORE THAN INTERESTING photos.
My point is, that I am willing to help out, especially in matters concerning Disclosure that can make sense to the general public (or at least the intelligent ones). I have photography (photo, video) and video editing skills that I am willing to put to work here in Southern California. I live in the Desert (Palm Springs area) and I am willing to drive to places in Nevada and Southern California, if my schedule permits.

If they land at Edwards, will we see the re-entry out here in California or am I too far south? Years ago they landed there, and I watched the shuttle fly across the sky at night in Oregon. It looked like a big meteor heading for impact and left a glowing trail behind it. I would love to get that on film.
On the Numbers
I must say I have not seen any conclusive proof that any number oriented or stelar alignment proof is correct. The conclusions reached may be meaningful, but that does not necessarily mean that particular conclusion is the one intended by the message.
I think any cryptologist would say playing with various numbers/alignments is basically fruitless, unless you have the key or keys to deciphering the message. Encrypted messages - and I would imagine that these numbers/alignments are encrypted - use algorithms, and really good ones lead either to gibberish or nonsensical interpretation, without the correct current key. And all encrypted messages have some sort of changing key - changed monthly, daily, hourly, or on by a prearranged schedule and method. There may be one key for number code and another very different one for alignments.
Notice how myself and others dallied over making these things somehow mean something, but when RCH replied, he replied only to the raw data (in my case). When one has the key to one's opponents codes, and wishes to make some announcement from the code breaking, it would not do to reveal knowledge of the key(s). Therefore, it could be that RCH's vagueness at times on these matters is deliberate [he has the key(s)] or a deliberate misdirection on his part to force opponents to think he has a key [he knows there is one but does not have it] and make a mistake.
So us peons out here may remain in the dark - [and that may be necessary as much as we and our curiosity chaff to know]. For now, or maybe even our lifetimes... Any premature revelations would go badly for the good guys (us). IMHO.

Some additional info. I think the French may not have come up with their notion of the Meter in a vacuum. French archeologists were all over Egypt in those times, especially when Napoleon's army was trapped there after Lord Nelson made the French fleet NARF the GARFLOCK at the Battle of the Nile. The little Corporal wasted no time and put his Savants (wise guys, professors) to work measuring temples , pyramids and walls and trying to interpret hieroglyphs. This effort eventually resulted in finding the Rosetta Stone. I almost forgot my main point. Eziekiels "Reed" could very easily be used to lay out a length of exactly 6 long cubits and then mark off an extra hand breadth for a total length of 22 hand breadths. This length could then almost exactly form a circle with a radius of 1 long cubit or 7 handbreadths. This implies a value of Pi = 22/7 = 3.142857 instead of the exact value of 3.141593. This would have been exellent accuracy for that time and it reflects the TRUE proportins of the Great Pyramid of Giza (more accurate than PHI or PI).

RCH, last night I caught a documentary on National Geographic Channel that I thought you would have liked (you might have seen it, I don't think it is a new doc). It was about the conspiracy theories surrounding the Apollo moon landings, presenting the theories about how they were faked and then the work of those trying to debunk those theories. The debunkers work was pretty compelling. Most of those with reasons why the landings were faked didn't seem to have much science or serious experimentation to back them up, meanwhile the debunkers were time an again able to replicated the scenes on the moon (the shadow evidence, the flapping flag evidence, etc.). I know you've done a lot yourself to debunk a lot of these stories so I thought might find this show interesting if you haven't already seen it.

This got me thinking about some reading I was doing last night about the Tower of Babel, because Cush was the father of Nimrod and Shinar was the land that contained Babel. Nimrod is the king of Babel and was known as a mighty hunter. I have read that this actually means he was a hunter of the souls of men, but I need to do some more research into this. The Tower of Babel has always interested me, since it got the attention of God enough for Him to come to earth to divide men and confound them because they were learning too quickly, and I suppose not following His commandments. Interestingly, this is discussed beginning in Genesis 11:1. Babel is bab (gate) and el (god) or gate of God. So what was Nimrod's people really working on? I don't pretend to have the answers, but like most of us here on this blog - I have lots of questions.

My bet is that Eileen is GOING to try for Edwards (based on what I heard on the air-to-ground very early this morning, after the "wave off" from Kennedy), on the THIRD opportunity.
So, if you position yourself as close to the Edwards landing site as possible (I hear they're NOT letting people in this time!) -- you should have a great view ... and get some great video/pictures with a LONG lens. :)
The Edwards times are ALL in the daylight, so there'll be no spectacular night plasma trail ....
wouldn't it make more sense to cover the bottom of the shuttle with an ablative material like they used on the capsules?...these tiles just seem overrun with problems

One of the prime objectives of this Mission was to repair one of the "Control Moment Gyros" aboard the Space Station, and to replace another one with a new one that Discovery brought up specifically to "swap out," right?
A "Control Moment Gyro" is nothing more than a big, contained flywheel -- which, when spun up rapidly, can be used to torque the entire Space Station around to a new attitude, by working three of them in an orthogonal array at right angles to each other (left, right, and up and down). With one as a spare.
Repeatedly, the official NASA spokesperson repeated the parameters of these "CMGs": 6600 revolutions per minute ... spin ... and 600 lbs in weight.
In other words ... 666!!

Richard's Mars Tidal model seems to be something he has worked on for quite some time. I wonder how long he has been a proponent of the asteroid belt being an exploded planet? I heard someone the other day discussing the asteroid belt, and he said the the asteroids could never have been part of a planet. They had been subjected to an array of tests that showed they did not carry a signature of a planet. They were in a pristine primordial state. They have never been exposed to heat and there is no differentiation among the minerals. The asteroids are in a primative state instead of a state that has been through an advanced process state. The planet this man claimed was the "missing" planet was Venus as its environment was destroyed. Richard, how would you refute that? How long have you known that the asteroids were the remnants of a planet (or moon of a planet)?

Not true.
The Shuttle avionics have been repeatedly upgraded, as well as added to with many state-of-the-art laptops brought on-board each flight. And, they have Ku-band (VERY broad bandwidth) com through the TDDRS satellites, as well as normal S-band system.
They've been talking about "shipping e-mail up and down" all week, as well as PDFs. So, there is every likelihood that they DO have "Internet access."
Iif nothing else, those on the ground (family, support personnel in Mission Control, etc.) certainly do ... and could easily forward anything "interesting" up to the crew in (acknowledged) e-mail ....
It's only the "damn tiles" that are a REAL problem!!

Actually you are forgetting that the USA includes 50 states and 12 Territories:
Puerto Rico
Guam
U.S. Virgin Islands
American Samoa
Northern Mariana Islands
Midway Islands
Wake Island
Johnston Atoll
Baker, Howland, and Jarvis Islands
Kingman Reef
Navassa Island
Palmyra Atoll
Some of these have had nuclear bombs dropped on them for years without anyone really taking notice, others were used as bombing ranges (Puerto Rico) until recently. Still others (Johnson Atol) are undergoing a huge buildup and have launch facilities (as part of the "National Missle Defense" (Star Wars) program.
And need I remind you beyond these 12 territories the US has bases in many countries in the world where it exerts an overwhelming influence. Some like the new US Navy base in Djibouti in the Horn of Africa, and in an equatorial region would make great secret launch site for secret shuttles or anything else.
If you launch anything in the US, whether from KSC, Florida, VAFB, CA, Groom Lake, NV, White Sands, NM, Wallops Island, VA, Marietta, GA or Boeing in SeaTac, WA you are allowing your launch to be viewed potentially by an aweful lot of people including amateur astronomers, satellite watchers, etc with access to the internet.
Much better to conduct such operations off shore in other US territories.

You know, something occured to me about the names of our Shuttles...they really aren't very well chosen. Okay, let's take a look:
Endeavor - the name of Captain Cook's ship, Cook was killed by Hawiian natives, cooked (but not eaten - the Hawiians were not cannibals), his bones extracted and his boneless flesh returned to his crew.
Discovery - the name of Henry Hudson's ship...okay, sounds good, but he died after his crew mutinied and cast him and his son adrift. He was never seen again. (Not at all coincidentally I suspect, Discovery is also the name of the ship in 2001: A Space Odyssey and let us not forget that HAL mutinied on that ship as well and managed to kill all but one of the crew aboard.)
Atlantis - the name of an entire continent (real or mythic, it doesn't matter) that sank in a titanic catyclysm, the destruction of an entire magnificent civilization.
Columbia - well, the first famous Columbia in American history was rather special, the first American ship to circumnavigate the globe, it was privately owned. But the first four USS Columbias (US Navy ships) had much more dubious histories (from Wikipedia): "* A 44-gun frigate Columbia was under construction at the Washington Navy Yard, but was burned in 1814 to prevent capture by the British.; * The first Columbia was a 50-gun sailing frigate launched in 1836 and in occasional service until 1861, when she was burned to avoid capture by the Confederates.; * The second Columbia was a captured Confederate screw steamer that ran aground in 1863.; * The third Columbia was an ironclad, also captured from the Confederates in 1865 and in use until June of that year(?).
Challenger - there was an HMS Challenger which was actually an important science ship from the 1800's but the name itself suggests a certain level of hubris.
Hopefully all goes well tomorrow morning (or whenever it finally comes down). I for one am glad this will probably be the last flight of the Space Shuttle if only so we can get on with the next, hopefully much better set of flight systems. The shuttle has been a stone around the neck of NASA for a long time now. Perhaps they can at least end the run of this fleet on a high note with this landing.

What's sad is since Challenger no one even paid attention to the STS missions until another disaster struck. The shuttles went up and down with semi-regularity with barely a shred of news from the big 3. I think there is little to read into. The true treachery facing NASA is budget cuts. Why do you think the military does most of their R&D on the black budget?

Thanks for responding to my "Secret Agent Man" comment.
I am not sure exactly what time it was...sometime between 6am and 9am CST at the bottom of the hour. I woke up for just a few minutes and looked at the clock. As I wear glasses and did not put them on, all I could tell was it was the BOTTOM of the hour. I listened to the news to see if Discovery had been killed off or had landed. The Sun was up and, listening briefly after the news, I heard that it was before the 9am program, which is Glenn Beck. The radio station is KTOK AM in Oklahoma City.
I heard a few bars of "Secret Agent Man" come through and then heard EITHER the announcer of Eileen Collins say that the song was their new theme song. They had not landed yet due to weather...blah...blah...and I turned the radio off and went back to sleep.
It never occurred to me that YOU might actually sleep sometime. I will call the radio station tomorrow and ask them about it but they may have missed it completely as it would be just another newscast to them.

Not that it will matter, and at this point maybe off-topic, but I always wanted to know about one of the options for an after-launch abort, the one refered to as a rtls (return to launch site?). Where would the ET have wound up? It would have been in a turn around mode with the shuttle and headed back in the general direction as the Cape. Surely there were not plans to "welcome" back,a large, out of control, aluminum and stainless steel tank that the shuttle would have eventually seperated from to attempt a landing at the Cape.
I always wondered if the right people had noticed, with better imaging in real time, the chunk of foam hitting Columbia's wing, would there have been an option or thought of aborting the launch at that point.

Again, off topic. Iapetus has large "craters" approximately 120 degrees apart. The Lagrange points L4 and L5 for this (or any other) satellite precede and follow the moon at plus or minus 60 degrees, providing a "match" for those angles. Perhaps the craters are communication structures oriented to take advantage of the "stable" Lagrange points (locations where artificial satellites could be placed.) Acknowledgement is given to the fact that the craters do not at present hold the proper orientation to the Lagrange points. Perhaps some shift occurred to the orbital mechanics in the past. Any thoughts?

The basic problem with that is the large AREA of the reentry surface needed: it would shrink and expand on ascent and reentry ... ultimately causing cracking! And that, by allowing the searing heat to penetrate to the airframe, would kill the spacecraft ....
The tiles were supposed to get around that basic thermal problem, by providing expansion joints (and those "gap fillers") in a series of carefully pre-designed "cracks" ....

I am not worried about anything. In fact, I urged him to put up all this theories at a blog somewhere, instead of posting them here. The distance between Jerusalem and Versailles is 3,333km and this distance is also observed by Tycho Brahe's observatory and the Gustavianum in Sweden. The meter might be the reason why Versailles was placed where it was.

From the Mutiny on the HMS Bounty story, we learn that the Pitcairn Islands were "off the charts". On a globe, or orthographic projection this is not possible. They would be on the chart, but not mapped yet. The mutineers were discovered by an American ship (not British).
What happened was the British underestimated the circumference of the Earth because they trusted revelation and calculations. Whether this was caused by not knowing the Earth flattens at the poles (presuming it is as wide at the Equator as pole-to-pole).
For the EEH people, that miscalculation might support an expanding Earth and perhaps tell us something about rate of expansion.
Cape Canaveral is linked to Lord of the Reeds and Ezekiel's Wheel (to me) looks like two wheels welded together at 90 degrees, representing a flat earth map and a sky chart.
If sunrise on in LA is 6:10amPDT then how is it daylight on the first opportunnity at 5:11amPDT? The difference between EDW and LA shouldn't be more that a couple of minutes. How long before actual sunrise is the the pre-dawn lighting? Am I missing something?
I know Sirius is a cool star, Richard, (should I say HOT??). But I gotta tell ya, if Commander Eileen is asking for sunrise times at Edwards, it's because she has to FLY that thing in for a brief period, then LAND it, so expected visiblity is important. (Yes this applies as well for night landings, except it refers to visiblity of runway lighting in that case.) Anyway I gotta call it a night. Hope to wake with Discovery safely on terra firma in sunny SoCal!

And, the obvious evidence of such a (literally) shattering event, is the remaining array of the asteroids and comets in the solar system. And, if you REALLY examine that evidence ... it actually, neatly fits a "shattered planet model," NOT the "pristine, primordial pieces which never FORMED a planet" model.

"Return to Launch Site" is an abort option with the Shuttle before it gets too high, and is going too fast. It can only take place AFTER the solid rocket boosters have burned out and have been jettisoned.
The procedure consists of first separating the Shuttle from the Tank -- done by blowing explosive bolts. The Tank continues on its ORIGINAL trajectory -- up and away from the Cape -- and eventually would fall into the ocean a few hundred miles off Florida.
Meanwhile, the Orbiter -- acting as a glider -- would turn around in a huge circle ... and be aligned with the runway at the Cape ... landing like the 100-ton glider that it is!
No "big steel Tank" crashing back into Florida! Sorry .... :)

There's a dramatic difference between sunrise at sea level ... and at altitude. The Shuttle will actually be IN SUNLIGHT for the last part of its reentry as it approaches Edwards, and will then reenter darkness as it descends to its landing ... 54 minutes before sunrise occurs on the ground ....
Play with RedShift a bit, and you'll see it. :)

The light "comes on" over Edwards Air Force Base at around 5:00 am EDT. I live in Santa Clarita Valley about 50 miles from the base, and daylight starts creeping up on the horizon by 5:00 am. By 5:12 am the shuttle should have ground visibility. Visibility at Edwards should be excellent located further East from this location. The valley floor where Edwards is located is pretty flat and visibility this morning is perfect. No clouds. No wind. Just calm waiting for the storm.

This got me thinking about some reading I was doing last night about the Tower of Babel, because Cush was the father of Nimrod and Shinar was the land that contained Babel. We should be getting a report of SOME kind this week on Deep Impact data from the deep Impact Team (and other researchers, from the ground-based observatories) -- from the Brazilian "comets and asteroids" science conference, going on now. I'll have more specifics in a few hours ....
And, independently--
One of our "sources" has promised -- now that the attention will be coming off Discovery and the fate of her crew -- to get us some answers from INSIDE NASA on the Deep Impact data.

No.
It was a code (as our sources have "decoded" it for us), telling everyone in Mission Control that she did NOT want to land at Kennedy!

I think it is just a Internet line local problem. But I am in Europe and on a LAN, and this may be the reason why.

I made a post as I was watching the EGG's and they were almost consistantly red the whole time for the 1st landing attempts last nite. Remember I made that post and you mentioned that it was probably the group consciousness all focusing on the return but not necessarily an indication of something wrong.

Being unaware of the intricacies of Aerospace flight, or really any of the millions of individual parts to achieve space flight and return to Earth, what was the cryptic message and why is it so important to land in Florida? For years it was standard to land at Edwards, and I can hardly believe that the money NASA saves by landing in Florida vs. California can be worth the safety and stability of the weather in the desert. So, my dear aerospace expert, what pray tell is not being told to the public. I believe that after the incredibly bad news of Sept. 11, 2005 that we the people can handle anything that NASA has to tell us.

As you put it, we "danced around the issue" for a specific reason -- as a signal to certain "interests" that would have potentially wished Discovery HARM last night -- that we KNEW -- than to all who wished her well ....

just to make an European point here: from the old good "Roland" times around 800 AD, we made some good progress down there. We still think we could live together in PEACE. And if somebody wants to go burning cathedrals around, there are still a lot of people with good will that would do QUITE something against that, but I don't think it will be the case.

While I listen to all the news coverage, there seems to be a looming doom or something sinister advancing on the horizon. It's a feeling I can't shake. Perhaps it’s my limited perception, but there is are several large pieces of this puzzle missing. There can’t be anything that devastating that “We the people” can not handle.

Just finished watching the press briefing from KSC. One interesting thing of note, Mr. Readdy when answering a question about the engineering data obtained during the flight referred to 'worshiping at the alter' of eng. data. I thought this was an interesting choice of words. I wonder if this is more of the code phrases that has been talked about relating to the internal haggling you have talked about Richard. Then at the end NASA Administrator Mike Griffin made sure that everyone would hang around for tomarrow's launch of the Mars Reconnaissance Orbiter.

I feel it too as do many of my friends in metaphysics, RVing, and psychics etc.
There are much bigger things than man's pathetic squabblings with each other approaching. And we will have to deal with them soon enough. Although these things have occured before as you can see we are still here !!!

Nothing mysterious there (thank God for bsmall favors!) ....
NASA all along has billed this flight (STS-114) and the next one (STS-121) as "Test Flights 1 and 2," after the terrible Columbia Disaster of 2.5 years ago. To qualify the "new" Shuttle system, after all the analysis and repairs, ready for a "return to flight."
So, this was -- in every sense of the word -- a "test" flight ....
I'll have more to say on this in an upcoming "Captain's Blog."
I just read an article on CBSNews.com about the shuttle landing. They said that the launch of Atlantis in September had to be scrubbed because they would not be able to get Discovery ready in time to act as a rescue vessel if needed. Maybe I have been asleep too long and not paying attention, but what happened to Endeavour (the newest shuttle)? Why isn't it being prepped to be the rescue vehicle, being the youngest of the fleet?

That was EXACTLY my question .. and not ONE of the "space veteran reporters" ever ASKED it??!!
We still have THREE working Shuttles (when I last counted ..) -- and have had two and a half years to get ALL of them in prime condition. So, why was (originally) getting Atlantis into orbit in September keyed to the turn-around of DISCOVERY ... which, in turn, drove the original herculian effort to get it landed at Kennedy!?
What are we "missing" ...?

Back in 1977-1981 when I was in the USAF, I worked with F-111A aircraft in Mtn. Home, ID. We had approximately 100 aircraft on the base, but only 25 or so could fly on any given day, and another 25 or so would never fly again.
The Air Force had then, as NASA has with the shuttles now, a policy called "cannibalization" where they take parts off of one aircraft (or orbiter) to put on another.
At one point in the mid '90s NASA had to k-ball parts off of 3 shuttles to get the fourth flight worthy. Spare parts for these things don't grow on trees, and I wouldn't be surprised if NASA still doesn't have enough critical spare parts for all three shuttles simultaneously.
Atlantis needs an APU, take one off of Discovery, and send the bad one back to the manufacturer for repair. When the repaired APU returns you put it back on Discovery.

Many of the stories and allegories were of Babalyonian and Sumerian origin. EVERYTHING comes from those sources. However, if you really want to study some fascinating items encoded in the Bible, review Stan Tenen's work at Meru.org. Richard is quite familiar with Stan as they have known each other for about 15 years I believe. There is something "special" in the Bible, but unless you are familar with Stan's work you are missing it.

Logical ... except: why are there NO questions on this from the regular, mainstream "beat" reporters -- like Craig Cavoult, of Aviation Week?
Isn't that a helluva story -- that one of only three surviving Shuttles is "missing in action" -- for an Agency wanting our trust and confidence (read: "money") to fly again ... and again ... and again?
And, what about this new "spirit of openess?"
And, this ISN'T a "wing" of 100 + operational fighter aircraft ... There's only three left -- of a literally dying breed. Our ONLY means of getting people into space for the foreseeable future.

This is the spacecraft which will be able to see things the size of a book on Mars, from orbit -- about 5 INCHES!! If we get the shots of things we want to see close-up ... yes, this Mission will finally PROVE there's artificial junk ALL OVER Mars!!
The problem is (as always): will JPL (NASA?) let us see the stuff in the highest resolution?
In other words, we have a LOT of political work to do, before MRO gets to Mars. Like ... get access to the Deep Impact data first!!
We have about a year before we need to really worry about MRO ... s it's enroute ... and then aerobreaking into the final orbit.

Maybe nobody has asked because it has been done for so long it is given as standard practice.
A quick LexisNexis search for keywords "space shuttle" "spare parts" and "nasa" from major newspapers between 1/1/1985 and 1/1/1995 turned up 96 hits, but this one from 1991 summed up the problem with spare parts best. It also had a very prophetic last paragraph...

Probably because they don't know there is another. The media these days is not known to do much more than take whatever appears on the day's NYT. If the NYT doesn't mention there is another shuttle, then the others won't think to ask. The NYT doesn't mention another shuttle because they are into other adjendas, and the reporter/editors are likely too young to remember or the existance of Endevor didn't turn up in their Google searches.
I don't think the failure to ask/care is a deliberate omission, just one of general ignorance or indifference to most things space.
Reporters these days are more interested in reporting their opinions/feelings about things in their hope to 'make a difference in the world'. Facts are just selective and adjuncts to proving their points, not the center of their reporting. Thus the rise of Blogs - like this one where facts and hints of things are part of the story to report.
In that vein, I would point out that there are numerous Blog sites which promote other sites and into search engines. Listing with one or all of them would greatly expand the hits on this blog, as well as lead the more daring reporters to examine its contents

Once we leave the safety of this planet, can anyone foresee a future where there is a mass exodus from earth much like that of those that were and still are fleeing Europe. When the colonies on the Americas were started, there were plenty of common men and women that were willing to go where no one as gone before. Therefore, since we as mankind did it once across oceans, what is to prevent us from doing it in space, our solar system, and beyond?
Could it not be said that the success of the past exploration was commercially driven? Why the must we beholden to the US government and NASA? Why not let enterprising individuals make the investment into leaving the Earth for the great beyond?

Probablly because of the deatly, destructive mess we made of the Colonization and westward expansion. Certainly, if we colonize space, some effort needs to be made to put our best foot forward (e.g. ensure that things like slavery and other forms of exploitation are not viable, curb some of the human impulse to stoop to the lowest common denominator in the policies and practices used in space, etc)

When I was a little kid I went to Huntsville and saw the Challenger being "built". I distinctly remember all of the talk about how this "new technology" was going to save us from being so earth locked. That was in 1978-fast foward to today. Absolutely NO progress, and for some time, a real apathy about the space program in general from the US public. Until this mission.

Before we can even talk about getting off this planet we need to find out what effects space travel would have on the human body. We can't just pick up and travel thousands of light years to a new destination. It can't work that way, for any entity that has a "physical body" such as ours. Space will have to be manipulated to allow for long space voyages. The whole "nature" of space needs to be examined also because it does not exist in a vaccuum. Space and time are complements but of an entirely different order. A new scientific paradigm that includes HD Physics will have to explain and incorporate the differences in orders of reality. We are on the cusp of a major change, I hope we can survive to see it!

I was at MSFC too, 1987 - '92.
If it was a coverup, was the masterpiece of "plausible deniability". Plenty of entusiastic people, proud of working at the most beautiful (technically speaking but not only) machine ever built by mankind.

I may be 18 (and therefore somewhat young and naive) but I look at the space program during the late 50's and into the very early 70's and THERE WAS A GOAL! In todays NASA there is none, it's become about having a SUSTAINED PRESENCE in space, I think it's been proven that it's not about the science anymore. During the golden age of NASA the entire world was in space with the crews that flew, until apollo 14. My point is though (so I don't babble on forever) that I'm not sure it will be possible for NASA to reach mars whithin the next 50 years, not beacause we don't have the technology but beacause the people at NASA that are pulling the strings are in "space presence" mode.
When the orbiter was designed it's mission FROM THE OUTSET was to orbit the earth, there was even a hint of capability designed in for going to the moon and/or mars....
I am disapointed with NASA and hold out a lot of hope for the private endevours into space, give (the aviation GOD) Burt Rutan several billion dollars and control of the manned space flight program....

Actually they are the actual 'commandments, if you will, of Parsi - to shorten them is to devalue them entirely. And interestingly very close to early christianity as taught by Yesuha (Jesus).

From the 3 first books I read, Val says a lot of goodies but doesn't back up a lot of it with supporting proof or data. I didn't bother reading the rest.
For example, in Matrix III (I believe it was), he talked about the 'dead-end' tunnel in the subterranean chamber of the Great Pyramid. He stated that if you are inside this tunnel, all your thoughts instantly manifest because it accesses the 4th dimension directly. People were going in and getting scared and the people would thus manifest their fears and would hence die. So they blocked the entrance with an iron gate so people wouldn't go in. I believe Drunvalo also spurred on this tunnel "fact" in his Flower of Life teachings.
Well, like most rumours or assumptions about Giza, these "facts" are often started and perpetuated by the local villagers who hussle tourists. These villagers will say and do anything to "confirm" any tourist's theory, and will even lie and make stuff up. Some of this nonsense actually gets published by so-called researchers who return to the west. Invent a theory, talk about it in the village, and I absolutely guarantee you'll have local Egyptian telling you grand stories to confirm that theory, like their grandfather worked on a dig and saw that machine you just talked about (or whatever).
What happened in that tunnel is that young teenage Japanese tourist crawled in and badly hit their head on the rough roof of the tunnel and she blacked out. She was rushed to the nearby hospital and ended up fine. Subsequently, the antiquity authority put up a gate to prevent tourists from going in. Actually a lot of shafts and tunnels are locked, due to the sheer dangers of venturing in; an act of responsibility and safety on the part of the antiquity committee. Unfortunately, conspiracy buffs or 'truth' seekers prefer to ignore the efforts of safety and default to the notion that blocked shafts or tunnels means "they are keeping stuff secret". Anyway, I spent many years living in Cairo and had gotten official and non-official permission (aka bribing) to enter these closed off areas. I've been in that dead-end tunnel many times, the one that Val talks about. Nothing of what he claims happens in there. I even slept in it a few times (via bribing the night watchman) just to see if anything esoteric would happen in there as being personally intruiged by Val's claim. The only thought that manifested was my thought that I was tired from the day and wanted to sleep, and thus I did fall asleep; an act of manifestation that 'mysteriously' seems to happen at night when I lay down on any bed. :) The harem of women I thought about in that tunnel never appeared, unfortunately. :) Seriously, if that tunnel is so spiritually dangerous to go in - as in people will manifest their thoughts instantly - and the govt wants to keep it secret, how come it's so easy to grease the palm of the watchman and get in. Why would they be given a key if it's such a secret place.
That's just one example. I saw a lot of other errors with other stuff Val wrote about. However, I do find his geo-political offerings interesting and well as his historical political timelines interesting. And probably valid to some degree.
Val writes a lot about the secret control over society by the govt and dark agenda groups. While I do appreciate these opinions and see some truths to them... much of our societial darkness is the result of our own lack of inertia, creativity, and strategy to make change. Blame it on the govt, if that's the easy way out. Or blame it on our own stupidity. For example, remote viewing courses, instructions, books, etc are in abundance now and have been for over 10 years. But is anybody using this knowledge to FINALLY solve our world and cosmic mysterious? Nope. So I am not convinced that the govt is keeping us fully under control when our own lack of inertia and lack of application is stagnant and thus more of the problem.

I think this later situation is starting to occur; private and corporate interest in space. NASA's delinquencies and cover-ups certain suck. But this might actually be to our truth-seeking advantage. For with delinquencies come open and untapped variables and situations that NASA is not keeping a hold of. I'm not so sure directing all our efforts towards NASA shaping up or disclosing things is the right approach. I'd prefer to side-swipe them.... considering all the other space potentials in other countries who might potentially be able to bypass this NASA nonsense.
If you are young, start working hard on making your millions, so you can start your own space corp and start sending your probes to the Moon or Mars and such, perhaps using newer fancy propulsion methods. And start teaching your children the 'other' reality, so when they move up into career positions they can hopefully slant things to newer directions. It is doubtful we can topple much in our lifetime. 150 years and more of cover-ups in all sectors so far. Do we expect grand change in the next 20 years? But we can strategically set up new variables for the youth... just to be safe.
Even with international space agencies, or new corporate space goals (eg space tourism), the patriarchal power slants will still be present probably.
Thus...
I personally feel Richard Hoagland is the one man to direct some strategic attention towards. Perhaps he can develop a space probe program, funded by all of us. He certainly has the know-how. It just requires funds. And it certainly doesn't have to be technologically fancy-dancy as NASA's probes. Actually, I think it might be suprising what useful thing could be created and sent into space for a few million bucks. If the entire Coast radio show audience donated $5 (approx $10 million total), perhaps in a couple years we might have our own Enterprise Mission probe in space taking the images and data we all long for. Now this is how to bypass NASA's nonsense. Private space ventures are already in progress. What's stopping Richard from developing his own? A collective $5 - $25 from millions of Coast listeners can produce serious results. And perhaps is the only large scale campaign worth focusing on.

Richard, you should have your very own radio program (or station!). Ok, maybe having your own station is not a completely practical idea for some reason (operating costs and what not), but I think you should have at least a 1-hour time slot somewhere. You've got a guaranteed audience :)

I'm specifically interested in the strip of land from Adams to Gold, WT's plot (no pun intended) in particular. Why do weird storms keep occuring there? Why has this lot remained vacant for 12 years, apparently ominously cordoned off until now? Is there any significance to the fact that WT, Africa-Israel, and (I believe) Boymelgreen's logos look eerily similar? That, besides WT's project, most if not all of these projects are being handled by wealthy Jewish firms?
Note: Lest anyone accuse me of anti-Semitism for the above comment, as a JW I feel a deep love and kinship for my Jewish brethren and I am particularly interested in their role in prophecy, as was the WT.
Don't the names and numbers Beacon, Nexus, Watchtower, 2012, 33, etc. have some kind of Illuminati/Masonic/NWO significance?
Doesn't the number 85 pop up a lot in Ezekiel's temple vision (850 feet square, 85 feet from the outer courtyard to the inner courtyard, etc.)?

If you think all eschatology/numerology/prophecy studies are bunk, I'm totally cool with that. This may well all be a coincidence. It may be a gigantic hoax (though one of this magnitude would certainly warrant an investigation). Or it may be something truly astounding. I'm open to anything and everything. I'm mostly just interested in what like-minded folks make of all this.
And moreso, what, if anything, Watchtower BELIEVES it is building...
It all just seems a little too odd to be coincidence.
And, after all, isn't that what this whole project is about?

However, my concern was that all these comments are making it hard for us to discuss the topic, which is the blog post they are attatched to. Many times I don't even bother posting, because you guys have driven the post count up over 250 talking about numbers and other similar subjects. TEM Space probe idea:
I seriously doubt that 25 mil would buy much. Add a zero for a better start up program. Sure you could hitch a ride on the french Adriana for cheap, but there goes the 25, then of course one could get some off the shelf instruments to throw in for the science part. But then all you'd have is 25 mil debt and a low earth orbiting probe. 250 mil would get some neat cameras and other cool stuff, and if all when well, you might even be able to pay for testing of your neat instuments and get a one way trip to the moon. If you were really lucky (frugal) your probe might even go into orbit around the moon. Oh then there is all the tracking and downlinks needed - rental on priority basis I assume, so being non-govenmental your data would probably be lost.
If one was really serious think more like 400-450 million. Perhaps you could raise the money by taking a leaf out of the play book NASA never used and rent space to corporations for their logos - a la Nascar.

I've been playing with the EGG thing since I first heard about it here. Pretty interesting. Yesterday, in the middle of the day for maybe an hour or so it hovered up in the Orange area but eventually went back down to green and blue. I guess orange isn't quite enough to be considered significant, but it seemed like maybe something was going on.

I'd like Richard's opinion on this. First, half a billion dollars is too much money to raise. Second, just because "they" do things at such costs, doesn't mean there is a great potential for around $10 million. Smarter, cheaper, simpiler, smaller. An Enterprise Mission probe project doesn't have to involve the corporate space effort approach... of trying to develop new and fancy stuff. Just using what is at hand and getting something on its way. If it ends up becoming a 'let's fully develop a brand new propulsion project'... then time gets wasted, funding gets eaten up, and years go by. I bet you Richard could get a probe on it's way to the moon or Mars for $10 million, or twenty mil.... thinking out of the box. Developing new technologies is great. Having a huge staff with slick high-tech facilities is tempting. But it's not necessary to get results... to get high res images and spectro data (and other) we need. There is a world of 'amateur' astronomers, scientists, radio/tech people out there... wouldn't be hard to tap into these resources. But I'm just puttering around with an idea. Richard can shed more insight. I admit I might be way off-base.

I haven't read that scripture myself recently, but I did think it was interesting that the comet is named "Tempel."
This is something that occurred to me even before I joined the board.
It's my understanding... at least according to certain evangelical groups... that there is a duality to everything that happens during the end times. A true (godly or heavenly) fulfillment, and a counterfeit (satanic or earthly) fulfillment. Some recent events, I believe, confirm this, i.e. the upcoming unveiling of a false Ark of the Covenant (the UN's Ark of Hope) and the real McCoy by Dr. Vendyl Jones. I'm going to go out on a limb here and posit that, perhaps, NASA's destruction of their Tempel may have a parallel in the destruction of an earthly temple, perhaps the Dome of the Rock...
Again, lest I be accused of anti-Islamic sentiment, I respect people of all faiths and believe that Islam does, in fact, play a vital role in prophecy, just as the world's other great monotheistic religions, Judaism and Christianity, do.
Just a theory. We'll leave the rest up to God and go from there...

I too would defer to Richard on this, but I believe the last time I checked the going rate for a shuttle launched satellite (not a probe) was in the order of 100 mil, now the French or Russians would do it for considerably less, so figure around 30-60 million. This does not count the cost of the probe or anything in it, tracking, data analysis etc. Earth to orbit price only. Go check launch prices. They ain't cheap.
If you figure the weigh of your satellite is (X), then multiply (X) times pounds of thrust (Y) needed to lift (X) to orbit (Z) = (Y*Z), times price of the fuel (A): X * (YZ) * A = fuel cost. This is just the net fuel cost, then add a modest profit/donation.
Remember a satellite is not a probe - something to go to the moon say. A probe will have to have it's own propulsion system for course corrections, and a way to send data back - this adds a lot of weight and the launch price goes up a lot. You will have to have a way to get that data and send course corrections and so forth. What will that cost? Were will you get the time on existing facilities? That cost also.
What's in the probe - oh you want a high-res camera? Add millions for the sort you would get any useful data from - say on the order of the MRO's 5" resolution. You are not going to use a high-res camera from WalMart!
There is no need I agree or desire to invent anything - off the shelf is good but remember that stuff was designed for particular purposes and you will likely have to modify them for your purposes - that costs also, not to mention the testing.
"Smarter, cheaper, simpler, smaller" - and who will test it to see if it works before you launch? And what will that cost?
Of course if you want your probe to go to Mars, add some serious money - 10 mil might just make the first fuel payment.
I'm not saying don't do it - just be serious and realistic about the actual costs and difficulties. SCSS may need a lot of testing to assure it actually works, and I don't think the SCSS philosophy encompasses much of the off the shelf stuff - most of what goes into space is very carefully designed and tested one-off for specific purposes so their probably isn't much of that to begin with.
If it was not necessary for all those "slick high-tech facilities," how come they have them in the first place? The camera you propose is certainly slick high-tech - do you propose to get its data off a short wave radio, feed it into your laptop and make pictures? One needs a slick facility to get and process slick tech.
Raising the money is just a question of salesmanship - corporations have already offered bids starting at 1mil per logo for an imprint on NASA's stuff. How many school kids would chip in their dimes and dollars, beg their parents for a contribution also? The CTC/TEM audience is just a drop in the bucket, fundraising wise for the kind of money needed to get the results you hope for.

Who would coordinate their efforts - more volunteers? Who would check the credentials of all these people? I know... more voulunteers. A serious private moon/mars probe requires serious efforts by serious dedicated professional people - and serious accountants and bankers to handle and distribute the money. IMHO

Actually the British spell it wth a 'P' - something to do with transliteration - others with an 'F'.
Indian Zoroastrians are termed Parsi, in modern terms the religion and its practitioners are called Parsi. Did you catch the brief scene where squires is showing off his lab? He walks camera left toward a work staion camera center where a guy is sitting before two 24" flatpannels. On the screnes are two different color scences from a mars rover - the scenes appear to move as if a video feed - and the sky was definitely BLUE.
